Frequently Asked Questions

Don't see your question? Give us a call! We will be happy to answer your questions, discuss your concerns, and provide guidance on the next steps.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Choice. We can also provide a superbill for out-of-network benefits.

Do you have private pay rates?

Yes, we offer a lower private pay rate for families paying out of pocket.

Where will services be provided?

Services are provided in our Byron, IL office.

Do you offer teletherapy?

Yes, we do have a teletherapy option. We can determine whether teletherapy is an option for your family after an in-person evaluation.

What does an evaluation include, and how long do they last?

All evaluations include a parent or patient interview, a comprehensive assessment, and some initial impressions. Evaluations typically last 60-90 minutes. A full report and treatment plan are completed after the evaluation and sent to the family via our patient portal. If therapy is recommended, the family can visit our front desk to get on the schedule.

Are parents or caregivers allowed in therapy sessions?

YES! In fact, we encourage that. We want you to be a part of this process and understand the how and why of what we are doing in therapy. We find this helps with carryover at home too.

Will you collaborate with other professionals on the patient's team?

Yes! This is very important to us and something we make a priority. We understand that we are often one part of the solution, and communication with others is necessary to get the best outcomes for our patients.

My child did not qualify for Early Intervention or school-based services, can you still work with them?

Yes. Our approach to therapy is very specialized and we are able to treat areas of development on a deeper level than what may be offered in other settings.
